Grade: Moderate

Mileage: 11 miles

Public Transport: 9.31 train Victoria.

Suggested Ticket: Day Return Chorley Station. Please note that a Greater Manchester pass will cover the outward journey, but a single ticket from Chorley to the next appropriate station will be needed.

Meeting Point(s): At Victoria station outside the ticket office, and at Horwich Parkway station after the arrival of the train. The walk starts from Horwich Parkway station after the arrival of the train.

Route: Horwich Parkway - Wallsuches - Pike Cottage - Rivington Hall Barn - Anglezarke - White Coppice - Brinscall. Expected time back in Brinscall - no later than 4.00 pm. It is then a short bus journey to Chorley Station for a train back to Manchester.
