Grade: Moderate/Strenuous

Mileage: 12 miles

Leader: Pauline Brooke

Public Transport: 9.45 train Piccadilly.

Suggested Ticket: Day Return Grindleford Station.

Meeting Point(s): At the entrance of the platform of the departing train AND at Grindleford Station.

Route: Grindleford Station - Froggats Edge - Curbar Edge - Curbar - Bubnell Farm - Wheatlands Lane - Bank Woods South - Bank Woods North - Calver - Calver Marshes - Froggats Bridge - Spooners Lane - Horse Hay Coppice - Grindleford Station. Expected time back in Grindleford, no later than 5.30 pm.

Changes to Printed Walks Programme

The 15th May longer walk will be led by Frank Heywood.

The 22nd May shorter walk will use the 10.49 train from Piccadilly.

The 2 June Sunday walk will use the 10.56 train from Victoria.
