Ascent: Total ascent 1,800 feet. Please note this is a strenuous walk.

Public Transport: 9.45 train Piccadilly.

Suggested Ticket: Day Return to Grindleford.

Meeting Point(s): At the entrance of the platform of the departing train at Piccadilly station and at Grindleford Station. The walk starts at Grindleford Station straight after the arrival of the train.

Route: Grindleford Station, Burbage Bridge, Lady Canning’s Plantation, White Stones, Stanedge Pole (1453 ft, highest point), Bronte Cottage, Hathersage Station. Expected time in Hathersage - no later than 5.30 pm.
