Changes to Area Walks Programme

Please note that the Short Walks on 20th November and 4th December have swapped over, see Area Walks.

Stepping Out for Carers

Stepping Out for Carers is a project being run nationally with The Ramblers. Our Manchester and Salford group are part of this project and some of its members were involved in a video filmed on a Heaton Park carers walk to promote the walks and the project. The 2-minute video can be viewed from here.

Jack Coupe, who was on the walk, has written a wonderful heart-felt description of the day and how it brought back memories from 40 years ago when he used to go walking with the YMCA. To read his blog, click here.

Area Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 Programme and Revisions
