NOTE: From July 2026, 'Area Walks' will be organised by the Manchester Public Transport Ramblers group. The walks take the same formats and use the same walk leaders.
Trail Guides
- Cown Edge Way (Third Reprint, 1985). Nearly 40 years since its publication, this cannot be regarded as an up-to-date description but may inspire walkers to attempt to walk all or part of the Cown Edge Way. This digital version was produced from a paper original held by Stockport Heritage Library.
