A stop was made at the memorial stone where the Bolton Clarion Choir sung and then it was up to Winter Hill for a quick rest.

We dropped down to the road into Belmont where free buses picked us up and took us back to the beginning or the station. It was good to see Ramblers from the area groups: Bolton, MAD Walkers, MWW, M&S and elsewhere.

Well done to Bolton Ramblers and the rest of the organising group!
